Treen to St Ives, one awesome walk but two broken dogs and one exhausted wife.

Day two of walking. Managed to do everything in this photo, but did break the dog and the wife in the process.

First day of walking the coast path. The gorgeous cliff side scenery has yet to stop me being an idiot.

October’s Top Tipples….

  • Mundo Organic Tempranillo/Petit verdot, 2018, £8. Midweight and well balanced, classically Spanish, a cracking ‘Wednesday’ wine, much better than it’s price.
  • Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, £45. One of the finest Cabernets in the world, in my opinion anyway.
  • Thunderflower Gin, £36.50 A incredibly classy new Devon Gin, juniper led with floral notes, length poise and grace, stunning stuff.
  • Fornaro Soave Classico 2018, £15. Proper Soave, grown on the granite centre is something to behold, well worth a try.

September’s Top Tipples…

  • Eido da Salgosa Albarino 2018, £13. A costal albarino full of fresh citric flavours and clean linear minerality.
  • Guillermo Pinotage 2017, £17. A brilliant big bold Pinotage from Swartland, full layered complex fruit, a cracking match to the cooler evenings.
  • Millefiori 2015 £12. A stunning blend of Corvina and Merlot, rich layered and rewarding, Yum Yum
  • ABK6 VSOP Cognac, £45.50. Offically the best VSOP in the world 2018, smooth rich and delicious, worth the money.
  • Fiver Fest Is Coming!

As Part of the fabulous national Fiver Fest, happening in independent shops around the country, for one week only from the 5th October 2019, any three bottles of Sandford Orchards Cider or any three bottles of Holsworthy Ales are only a fiver!
